Position Overview: The Integrity Group of Companies consists of five different business units, with the primary areas of focus including the construction of post frame buildings across Western Canada, supplying framing material packages to homebuilders in Calgary and area, as well as manufacturing. We’re currently looking for a Wood Processor to join our dynamic team. If you're passionate about the building materials industry and have experience working with wall panels and engineered wood products, we want to hear from you! As a Wood Processor, you are responsible for cutting and processing a range of materials— including I-Joists, Laminated Veneer Lumber, Laminated Strand Lumber, and Dimensional Lumber—according to precise specifications. You'll work in a manufacturing environment where attention to detail and safety are priority. In this role, you'll read and interpret drawings and blueprints to build wall panels and floor systems that meet the highest standards. Roles and Responsibilities:
● Pick engineered wood products and dimensional lumber from the lumber yard
● Quality control of lumber products and determine its use
● Read cut list and measure the engineered products to accurate length
● Cut wood product according to specifications
● Read drawings provided by the Mitek software system or by paper copy
● Build wall panels according to specifications
● Operate overhead crane
● Ensure work is being done effectively and accurately
● Maintain equipment and tools and report on malfunctions
● Adhere to health & safety policies and quality standards

Skills/Qualifications:
● Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
● Strong organizational, planning and time management skills an asset
● Self-starter with the ability to work cooperatively and be willing to assist others​
● Great attention to detail
● Good physical strength and stamina
● Working outdoors for quality control

Education/Experience Requirements:
● Minimum Experience: 1 year of framing experience is considered an asset.

Technology & Equipment:
● Operate tools such as the saw, nailer, square, measuring tape etc.
● Forklift or crane experience an asset

Job Overview: Reporting to the Yard Manager, as the Forklift Operator you will gather and move incoming and outgoing materials to their desired locations via the safe, accurate and efficient operation of forklift.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
• Operating a diesel, electric or propane powered forklift to safely move goods.
• Assembling customer orders, shrink wrapping and packing to ensure proper packages for delivery. Inspecting and verifying finished shipping packages for accuracy and quality.

The Candidate: We are looking for a critical thinker interested in an opportunity to exercise their judgment and assume significant responsibility for business growth. Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in the construction industry, with experience in commercial construction.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.

Knowledge of construction techniques, tools, and equipment, as well as safety regulations and procedures.

Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
