In February, Supply-Build Canada was approached by HICC to gather member input on Buy Canada policies and the ability to domestically source products.
On August 24, HICC shared the survey results with Supply-Build Canada. HICC continues its analysis and industry engagement to assess how Buy Canadian Policy can be credibly applied across government funded housing and infrastructure projects. Your feedback provided valuable on-the-ground context that supports ongoing work on policy implementation by improving the Canadian government’s understanding of domestic production capacity and readiness to meet demand, as well as the challenges and realities faced by industry.
