Job Description:
Position Overview: The Integrity Group of Companies consists of five different business units, with the primary areas of focus including the construction of post frame buildings across Western Canada, supplying framing material packages to homebuilders in Calgary and area, as well as manufacturing.
The responsibilities of our Lumber Yard Order Processor are to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of products, as well as ensuring the quality of the orders. As a lumber picker, you will operate various pieces of equipment to build and send out appropriate orders. Yard labour employees will also receive building materials delivered to the yard.
Roles and Responsibilities:
● Receive and check incoming orders
● Locate and load products in a timely manner
● Retrieve orders according to quantity and size ensuring accuracy
● Wrap orders before loading on trucks
● Restock inventory manually or with warehouse equipment
● Keep records of completed orders
● Maintain equipment and report on malfunctions
● Adhere to health & safety policies and quality standards
Education/Experience Requirements:
● Minimum Experience: N/A Skills/Qualifications
● General health and safety knowledge required for visiting building sites
● Strong organizational, planning and time management skills
● Self-starter with the ability to work cooperatively and be willing to assist others
● Great attention to detail
● Diligent and punctual
● Good physical strength and stamina
● Enjoys working outside on a daily basis
Technology & Equipment:
● Experience or license in handling forklifts and other equipment is considered an asset
